Role of Iron in the Plant:
- Required for formation of chlorophyll
- Activator for respiration, photosynthesis and symbiotic nitrogen fixation
- Vital part of oxygen carrying systems
- Tied up in high pH soils
Signs of Iron Deficiency
- Interveinal chlorosis of young foliage (veins remain green), but in severe cases, the leaf is white (void of chlorophyll)
- Twig dieback
- Stunted growth
- Deficiency first appears in young growth
- Deficiency is most common in alkaline soils and in soils high in phosphorus and calcium

Methods of Application
CarboIron can be applied as a foliar treatment in a regular spray program or as a corrective spray. It is suitable for ground or aerial spraying.
